Which banks work with uRekoin?

Short answer: any bank or app that sends you a notification when you pay. uRekoin does not link to your account and does not use open banking: it reads the payment notification your phone already receives and turns it into a logged expense. Everything happens on the device.

For the most common banks and apps the notification format is already recognised: install uRekoin, grant notification access and expenses start logging themselves. The list is below. And if your bank is not on it, there is a solution for that too.

Banks in other countries

uRekoin is also available in English, French, German and Spanish, and recognises notification formats from the main banks in these markets:

  • Spain: CaixaBank, Santander, BBVA, Sabadell, Openbank and the main Spanish banks
  • United Kingdom: Barclays, HSBC, NatWest, Lloyds, Monzo and the main UK banks
  • Germany: DKB, Commerzbank, ING, Sparkasse, N26 and the main German banks
  • France: Crédit Agricole, BNP Paribas, LCL, Société Générale and the main French banks

Your bank is not on the list?

It works anyway. When uRekoin meets a payment notification in a format it does not know, it tells you and asks you to show it once: you point out where the amount is and where the merchant name is, and from then on notifications from that app are read automatically.

So the real question is not "which banks does uRekoin support" but simply: does your app send a notification when you pay? If it does, uRekoin can log that expense. That covers small banks, local institutions, foreign apps and whatever comes next.

Honest note: anything that generates no notification (cash, some bank transfers) needs manual entry. That is what the quick manual entry is for.
